San Bruno

San Bruno is located on the Peninsula,
12 miles south of San Francisco
and immediately adjacent to the San
Francisco International Airport. The
City is easily accessible via BART and
Caltrain. For those who prefer to drive,
San Bruno is located between two
major highways: the 101 and 280.
With a population of around
40,000, San Bruno is small enough to
have that small-town feel with all
the benefits of living near a big city.
Its strong community makes it an
ideal place to raise a family. Not only
do parents enjoy the family-driven
atmosphere, but they also love the
opportunities available to their children. San
Bruno parents send their kids to great schools.

Weekends and after school, kids and grownups
alike take advantage of the parks and
recreational areas. San Bruno has 18 parks
covering 71 acres and 4,700 trees. Highlights
include more than 20 sport fields for soccer,
baseball and football players. The City also
organizes team sports and other recreational
activities for the entire family.

With more than
100 stores and restaurants, the mall
is a safe (and covered!) place to meet
friends and spend the day.

Downtown San Bruno is another
fun place to go shopping and spend
the day. “The downtown area has a lot
going on,” said Mayor Franzella. “It
is also undergoing ongoing improvements,
including the installation of a
new clock tower on San Mateo Ave
to celebrate the 100th anniversary of
the Rotary Club of San Bruno.”
San Bruno residents also enjoy the
fact that like their city, they too have
room to grow. The City offers residents
the opportunity to upgrade
into larger houses as their families
and spacing needs grow.
